STI and HIV Info

SBI Health Education does not provide STI or HIV testing, but we CAN help you find local resources (or in your hometown) for testing or treatment. We can also provide one-on-one info sessions or workshops/presentations to groups to share STI/HIV info and talk about the things that concern you or the questions you have…..or the myths that are out there!

The New York State HIV/AIDS/STD Hotline is a great way to get accurate HIV, AIDS and STD information and counseling services. Call their HIV/AIDS/STD hotline for more information at 1 (800) 541-2437 or fill out this easy contact form. Their hotline is available Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. EST, Saturday–Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Evergreen Health Services (corner of Elmwood & Chippewa in downtown Buffalo) offers testing and screening for some STIs and HIV, including a FREE, confidential, 10-minute rapid HIV test.

On campus, testing is available at UB through Student Health Services. Contact SHS at 829-3316 to schedule an appointment. Check with your insurance provider to see what kinds of tests are covered!
