  • SBI Workshop Coordinator

    Responsible for the scheduling, planning and facilitation of workshops and presentations at on and off campus venues.

    Qualifications:

    An interest in the field of Health Education is desirable. Our ideal candidate should be open to the needs of the University students, realizing that Health Education needs are broad and diverse. Must have good organizational and time management skills. Counseling skills and experience a plus. Must complete Peer Education Training provided by Health Education.

    Compensation:

    A bi-weekly stipend of $119.13 and a wealth of experience in the management of a diverse service operation.

  • Reproductive Health Counselor

    Supervises & trains student peer educators, interns and volunteers for peer birth control/contraception sessions, sexually transmitted infection counseling, workshops and pregnancy testing/counseling. Also assists in the planning of division events.

    Qualifications:

    Must be open, empathic and interested in human services. Must have supervisory skills. Must have an ability to keep confidential information and respect patient client confidentiality. Must have the desire to help others. Must complete Peer Education Training provided by Health Education.

    Compensation:

    A bi-weekly stipend of $142.94, and a extensive experience in dealing with issues of human sexuality. An opportunity to help others and also provide for personal growth.

  • STI Education Co-Supervisor

    Responsible for providing STI test counseling (training provided), coordinates work-shops, speakers and awareness events. Supervises some interns and volunteers.

    Qualifications:

    Must complete Peer Education Training provided by Health Education. Must be open, empathic and interested in human services. Must also be able to maintain professional confidentiality. Good organizational skills necessary, with strong communication and presentation abilities.

    Compensation:

    A bi-weekly stipend of $134.08, and a wealth of experience in dealing with issues of human sexuality. An opportunity to help others and to experience personal growth.

  • Safety Shuttle Driver – Overnight

    Responsible for the operation of the Safety Shuttle. Keep statistics related to service.

    Qualifications:

    Must have valid driver license and be eligible for Van testing. Must complete Peer Education Training provided by Health Education.

    Compensation:

    An hourly rate of $10. An opportunity to help others and maintain important safety program, and experience personal growth.

  • North Campus Walk-Station Supervisor

    Responsible for coordinating North campus walk stations. Included in that task is the recruitment, training and scheduling work-study and volunteers who provide the services. Assist with programming and awareness events.

    Must have good organizational, management, and communication skills. Must be able to coordinate, schedule and organize a staff. Must complete Peer Education Training provided by Health Education.

    Compensation:

    Bi-weekly stipend of $138.28. The opportunity to use management and communication skills. The ability to coordinate a staff and develop leadership skills.

  • South Campus Walk-Station Supervisor

    Qualifications:

    Must be responsible, and possess good organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

    An hourly rate of $7.50.

  • Safety Service Shuttle Supervisor

    Responsible for coordinating Safety Shuttle services. Included in that task is the recruitment, training and scheduling work-study and volunteers who provide the services. Assist with programming and awareness events.

    Qualifications:

    Must have good organizational, management, and communication skills. Must have valid driver license and be eligible for Van testing for Safety Shuttle positions only. Must be able to coordinate, schedule and organize a staff. Must complete Peer Education Training provided by Health Education.

    Compensation:

    Bi-weekly stipend of $136.62.The opportunity to use management and communication skills. The ability to coordinate a staff and develop leadership skills.
